Top Indian Cuisine in Anaheim

Many Anaheim visitors go straight for the decadence at Disneyland, but if you’re craving something with a little more kick and heat, the local Indian restaurants are the place to go. Try Punjabi Tandoor for traditional northern Indian cuisine including the famous tandoori chicken and naan in a casual eatery. Authentic fare that ranges from creamy butter chicken to parathas stuffed with a variety of options, from meats to vegetarian, can be found here and are made from scratch.

Gandhi Palace is popular with locals, featuring an impressive vegetarian and carnivore menu. Here you’ll find classics from around India, from southern-inspired crispy dosas to “comfort food” like moong dahl and saag paneer with large pieces of paneer (cottage cheese).

The Spice of Anaheim

Don’t be fooled by the name Ambala Sweets and Spices. This grocer/restaurant is known for their Indian sweets including besan ladoo and jalebi, but also serves a genuine and full menu to customers in the know. Try their vegetarian biryani, malai kofta, palak paneer and saag aloo.

At India King, you’ll be treated to an impressive option of curries, stuffed naan and tandoori specialties. Try the paneer tikka skewer, goat biryani and variety of starters from perfectly seasoned samosas stuffed with potatoes to the aloo tikki chaat. Where will your cravings take you?
