The City National Grove of Anaheim is known for being home to legendary performances by Merle Haggard, Prince, Stevie Nicks, Lewis Black, and Ray Charles, among many other artists.

Under Nederlander’s management, the City National Grove of Anaheim hosts over 250 events like comedy shows, family shows, live concerts, and private and community events. Nederlands was the first promoter to bring live theater to this indoor venue, with Broadway touring productions of Stomp, Rock of Ages, Rent, and others.
This venue originally opened as the ill-fated Tinseltown in 1998, an awards show-themed restaurant. It later converted into a concert venue and was temporarily renamed The Sun Theater before being named The Grove of Anaheim. On January 20117, the venue received its current name, the City National Grove of Anaheim, following the naming rights agreement with the City National Bank.
