The Living Tradition, a non-profit organization, brings Red Moon Road featuring Ric Taylor to concert November 21-22nd. Red Moon Road is one of Canada’s most beloved folk bands, with Daniel Jordan classically trained in jazz and Daniel Peloquin-Hopfner using his bilingual progressive rock training to life alongside singer Sheena Rattai. They’ve performed everywhere, from living rooms to the biggest folk stages, and offer modern music with strong folksy roots.
Red Moon Road is a trio of master storytellers, and blend perfectly with the style of Ric Taylor. In 2014, Taylor’s “Ruby Johnson” received the 2014 ASCAP Jay Gorney Memorial Award due to the message of social conscience and incredible composition. Taylor continues to rack up songwriting awards, and uses humor at times to engage with audiences.
