Martin Luther King Jr. Day offers a variety of options for celebrating in the Anaheim area. The annual Peace and Unity Parade kicks off at the MLK Jr. Avenue and Anaheim Street intersection at 10:30 a.m. on January 14, and the celebration continues until 6 p.m. Each year, over 25,000 attendees come together for a day of live music, entertainment and honoring brotherhood and peace.

Kids enjoy carnival rides, arts and crafts and are guided towards an understanding of justice and peace.
