For the last 60 years friends and families have been dreaming of this day. May 22 is when the Disneyland® Resort Diamond Celebration gets underway. Making some dreams come true in some amazing and unforgettable ways.

The Night Parade

Paint the Night parade is a new nighttime parade currently running in Disney California Adventure. As part of DCA’s new ‘Pixar-push’ this parade was relocated from Disneyland and temporarily replaced by the Main Street Electrical Parade.

This Disney California Adventure’s version of Paint the Night parade can also be experienced at Hong Kong Disneyland.

Disneyland® Forever

The show features fireworks launched both from backstage areas and from selected locations within the park. The largest projection mapping display ever presented in a Disney park is another experience not to miss. Video and images are projected on Sleeping Beauty Castle, the buildings along Main Street, U.S.A. the Matterhorn Bobsleds the facade of It’s a Small World and along the Rivers of America during the show.

World of Color

Disneyland’s World of Color is a dazzling 22-minute nighttime show of pure Disney magic ending to your day in the Disneyland parks. The amazing spectacle sweeps across the water, lighting up Paradise Gardens Park and dazzle your senses. This unforgettable kaleidoscope of color and emotion must not be missed. Truly the most impressive and fanciful nighttime spectacular Disney has ever produced!

As the lockdown approaches at both my South African and American homes, I’m in awe of the fact that I got to see as many friends as I have over the last two months. One of the most heartfelt and emotional highlights was meeting up with Rob and Keith for a sincerely blessed night in the park at Disneyland. . It’s been a long time goal to see the World of Color at the park and I can’t believe how moving it was.
